Projects Using Nelson Granite
As an integrated quarrier, manufacture and wholesaler, Nelson Granite sells granite blocks to the international market and has regular shipments to places as far as away as Asia. These blocks generally are used for architectural purposes and end up in some of the most prestigious buildings in the world. Our granites have been used on buildings in the United States, Canada, Japan, China, Singapore and United Arab Emirates.
Terry Fox Memorial, Thunder Bay, ON
Our Vermilion granite was used in the retaining wall part of this tribute to Terry Fox located in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
Lakehead University, Thunder Bay, ON
The stairs that lead students up to the entrance of Lakehead University are made of our fine-grained Vermilion granite. Because granite is so long-lasting it's an excellent choice for these sorts of high traffic areas.
First Union Center, Raleigh, NC
This remarkable building uses Nelson Granite's Vermilion granite. Granicor used our Vermilion slabs to produce architectural cladding for this spectacular looking tower.
Skyline Place, Falls Church, VA
Working from our Canadian Mahogany (Red Deer Brown) slabs, Granicor manufactured the architectural stone for this office building.
Novell Headquarters, Provo, UT
Our Pine Green granite looks stunning on Novell's corporate headquarters. The project was done in 1998 and 1999 and once again, our friends at Granicor created the architectural stone for this gorgeous looking building.
