Nelson Granite Bases for Bronze Markers & Foundations

An enduring tradition of quality…

Since 1909, the Nelson family has produced fine granite memorials. We have a history of excellence and tradition that we pass on to you, ensuring your clients' complete satisfaction. Known worldwide for quality granite, Nelson Granite offers its bases for bronze markers and foundations in the following colors, available from our own quarries. See color samples and specs here.

Vermilion (Morning Rose & North American Pink)

Vermilion is one of our most popular colors. Because of its beautiful, deep rose color it is an exceptional selection for bases for bronze as well as any other type of memorial. This high quality granite is fine grained and it will last forever.

Canadian Mahogany (Red Deer Brown)

The richness of this earth-toned granite makes Canadian Mahogany another very popular choice for bases for bronze plaques and markers. The range of colors in this medium-grained granite complements the bronze attached to it. It takes a high polish.

Pine Green

Nelson Granite is pleased to present this very successful selection. Well-liked by clients, it is a perfect match for bronze and looks lovely against a grassy background. It takes a high polish.

Shepody

This classic selection is medium-to-light brown in color, with a black matrix. An excellent choice, this large-grained granite looks very good paired with bronze.

Mill Lane

Our most economical granite, Mill Lane is coarse grained, grayish granite that ranges in color from green to gold. With a diamond-honed face and sides, it eliminates the need for a concrete base by using this granite as the foundation.
